About Me

I am an Assistant Professor of Analytics in the Department of Management at Bayes Business School, City St George’s, University of London, and a Visiting Researcher at the Centre for Health Economics and Policy Innovation (CHEPI) at Imperial College Business School. I hold a PhD in Analytics and Operations from Imperial College Business School, as well as BSc and MSc degrees in Industrial Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.

My research lies at the intersection of sequential decision-making, data-driven optimization, and analytics. Methodologically, I develop and apply tools such as Markov Decision Processes (MDPs), Partially Observable Markov Decision Processes (POMDPs), microsimulation, and machine learning to address complex decision-making problems under uncertainty.

My application areas include healthcare operations, medical decision-making, public health policy, and behavioural operations. Through my research, I aim to develop interpretable and implementable decision-support tools that improve resource allocation, enhance patient outcomes, and inform evidence-based policymaking.

I collaborate with clinicians, policymakers, and industry partners in the UK and the USA to translate analytical models into practical solutions for real-world healthcare and system-level challenges.
